Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, Kavena Chun is blessed with a unique combination of beauty and distinctive athleticism that she's fostered through years of surfing, swimming, fishing, and dancing hula. A broad skill-set and work ethic have afforded Kavena opportunities in acting, modeling, TV hosting, and stunt work.

As a print model & commercial actress, she has appeared in Seventeen magazine, publications in Japan and Hawaii, as well as 15 television commercials. Her upbeat, engaging personality quickly established Kavena as a coveted personality in the Hawaiian market. Experience highlights include co-hosting of KHON-TV's Good Morning Hawaii, a national show syndicated to more than 106 million households, and positions as a columnist and featured writer for the East Oahu Sun.

Her physical talents are showcased through stunt work, with a specialty in work on and in the water. She has performed stunts for popular programs such as The Event, Entourage, and The River. She is also a world-class hula dancer who has travelled the globe as an ambassador for her culture's iconic dance. 


As an actress, she has been able to exhibit her innate comedic improv skills on OC 16 Hawaii's Da Braddahs and Friends and in her starring role in the short comedy "Ajumma," a Hawaii International Film Festival winner.

Kavena has always had a beautiful and distinguishable voice and is starting to utilize her talent in the voice-over industry. Her soft, sweet, captivating voice can be heard in several Hawaiian television and radio commercials.

Since moving to Los Angeles, she has immersed herself in training to further her career. After graduating from the Lee Strasberg Institute, which specializes in method acting, Kavena has enrolled in voice-over school at the famous Radio Ranch.
